Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and who else can see it. Written to be read, not to be survived.
What changed: we added the booking calendar, the questionnaire and document uploads; described how we use AI; and named who else can see your information.
What we collect
We collect only what you hand us. There is no advertising network, no tracking pixel and no third-party analytics script on this site. Our free tool, Levant QR, collects no data.
If you book a call
Your name, email, your phone number if you give it, what you need, a note if you write one, and the time you chose. We email you a confirmation with a calendar file, and send ourselves a copy.
If you write to us
Your name, email, your phone number if you give it, and your message.
If you fill in the questionnaire
Your name, business name, ABN and address, how and when you would like us to contact you, when you would like to start, your answers to the project questions, the addresses of your current websites, the technology you use now, sites or solutions you like, the problem in your own words, any questions you have, and any documents you upload (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV, text or image files; up to six).
The project questions are the same ones used by the instant estimate on the Offerings page. From your answers we work out an internal estimate and a recommended price. You are not shown it, and a person reviews it before anything is quoted to you.
If you use the instant estimate
The choices you make are sent to our server only to calculate the range you see, and we do not store them. If you continue from the estimate to the booking page, the choices travel in the page address so you can edit them first; they reach us only if you then book or send a message.
Automatically
Our web host keeps standard server logs — IP address, timestamp, page requested — for security and troubleshooting. When you book or send the questionnaire we also record your IP address and browser type, and we limit how often one address can submit, to keep out spam and abuse. We do not use a CAPTCHA or any third-party anti-spam service.
Why we collect it
What you send is used to answer you, to run the call you booked, and to scope and price the work. Nothing else.
We do not sell, rent or trade your details, and we do not load them into an advertising or marketing platform.
How we use AI
We use AI as an accelerator when we write code, through custom-built tooling based on Anthropic’s Claude. People design, review and sign off everything we build — nothing goes live because an AI said so.
Material you give us stays on our own servers. It is sent to Claude only while we are building your project, and only as much as that work needs.
Client material — your documents, your customer data, the content of your internal systems — does not go into a consumer AI tool that trains on its inputs.
AI does not make decisions about you. The instant estimate and the questionnaire report are calculations from fixed rules we wrote; a person decides whether to work with you and what to quote.
Where a project needs AI applied to your own material — inside a system we build for you — the tool, the data boundary and the retention setting are agreed with you in writing before anything is uploaded.
How long we keep it
Bookings, messages, questionnaires and uploaded documents that do not become projects are deleted within 12 months.
Project records are kept for 7 years, which is what Australian tax and business record-keeping requires. Documents you uploaded for a project are kept for the life of that project and then handled as we agreed with you.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it — including a booking, a questionnaire and the documents you uploaded with it. Email hello@levantsystems.cloud and we will action it within 30 days — usually the same week.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
